Scholarship information can be found on Naviance. New scholarship opportunities are added periodically each month.
Local Scholarships
Students must complete the Eastern Local Scholarship Application and turn it into the Guidance Office by Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 2:30 P.M. Scholarships that require an application other than the “Eastern Local Application” are identified as “Special Application.” Students are responsible for submitting individual applications for each scholarship and must supply copies. The applications and criteria may be found below.

| Eastern Education Association Philanthropic Fund Scholarship | The EEA Philanthropic Fund, Inc. will award scholarships to EHS students who are planning to enter the education profession. The recipient must qualify for a high school diploma. The recipient must be enrolled in or accepted by an accredited institution of his/her choice. Eligibility is limited to Eastern High School seniors. Class rank and grade point average will be taken into consideration. The recipient must be endorsed by the Selection Committee. Immediate family members of Eastern Camden County Regional School District staff may not receive the scholarship. | Special Application |
| Eastern Regional High School Alumni Association | $1,000 TD Bank Visa gift card and medallion – Must carry a 3.2% GPA, intention of going to a post graduate education program or training school with acceptance in a program by the time of application (proof of acceptance is required), student has volunteered within the Eastern Community, essay of 500 words or less on ONE of these topics: Describe the positive impact you have had on the local community, what does community mean to you, what positive impact has Eastern had on you. | Porco (Jennifer) Memorial Scholarship (Voorhees Girls Softball Association) | $500 Check – (other checks may be available) The successful candidate should have a good academic record and have maintained at least a B average. Should have participated in the Voorhees Girls Softball Association league (either on the travel squads or on the intramural squads) for a minimum of two (2) years and have played softball for a high school team for a minimum of one (1) year. Should have been accepted to an accredited two or four year degree program. Should be able to establish a friendly personality, and be of good character through references and demonstrated via extra curricular activities. Candidate’s experience with cancer patients and the visitation of these patients while they were being treated for the cancer. | Voorhees Basketball Association | 2 - $1,000 Scholarships - Must have participated in the VBA for at least three seasons. Please describe your participation in a short paragraph (no more than 3 sentences). No more than a 500 words. Essay must include how participation in the VBA has had an impact or made a difference in your life. Be of good character, have respect for in the VBA, Have good character have respect for authority and their peers. Must have a love of the game. Financial Aid
The FAFSA forms can be accessed online by going to Free Application for Federal Student Aid (Fafsa). Remember, the application must be submitted before January 1 of the graduation year. Also, federal finanacial aid requires you to be a registered voter and registered for the selective service.
