Overview
The art courses offered at Eastern High School are currently aligned with the 2004 New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. During the 2010-2012 school years, art courses will be revised and realigned with the 2009 New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. Art courses at Eastern High School are developed to prepare students for careers and college aligned with the mission of the 2009 Core Curriculum Content Standards.
The arts enable personal, intellectual, social, economic, and human growth by fostering creativity and providing opportunities for expression beyond the limits of language.
