Pre-Requisites

Overview

In sequential courses, successful completion of the previous course is the prerequisite. Placement in English 1 CP and Algebra 1 CP will be determined by NJASK Test Scores (less than 200). It is strongly recommended that students who sign up for Pre-Calculus Honors have successfully completed Algebra 2 Honors.


The science course prerequisites with both science and math components:

• Chemistry Advanced Honors and Honors require successful completion of Algebra 1
• Physics Accelerated requires successful completion of Algebra 1
• Physics Honors requires successful completion of Algebra 1 & Geometry
• Biology AP requires successful completion of Biology, Chemistry, and Algebra 2
• Chemistry AP requires successful completion of Chemistry and Algebra 2
• Physics AP will freely apply calculus to problem solving by the end of the year.
