Eastern Viking Band Aides
Overview
The Eastern Viking Band Aides is a non profit organization that financially supports the endeavors of the Eastern Marching Vikings, the Eastern Indoor Percussion Ensemble and the Winter Guard. Our meetings will be held on Saturdays with time and place to be determined. You do not have to be a member to attend, but membership is required for voting. Come out and show your support at the football games and Competitions. For the latest information, contact John Stanz.

Fundraising
One of the main reasons the Marching Band is supported by a parent organization is to provide band members a way to earn money for their “Student Account”. Student accounts were established because the Marching Band does something that no other EHS group does during the course of the school year and that is travel. In the past, the band has traveled to Orlando, Fla., Williamsburg, Va., and Hershey, Pa. Our Indoor Drum Line and Color Guard have traveled to Connecticut, Ohio and Wildwood NJ every spring.
To offset the costs of these trips, the Band Aides hold fundraising activities for all the students to participate in. A percentage of the money that is raised by you, the band member, is placed in your Student Account so that it may be used towards any band related expense you incur during the marching band or indoor seasons.
Below are a few guidelines that help you access your student account.
• You must fill out a Student Account Withdraw Slip which are found in the Band Office in the bottom drawer of the Band Aides box. (John Stanz will be glad to show you where they are)
• Once filled out place it in the top drawer. Each month an updated list of all account balances will be posted on the wall outside of the band room door.
• Money in this account is for band member use only.
• Seniors if you have not used your money by graduation day your balance will be transferred to the Band Aides General Treasury.
