Community
Overview
Community support are fundamental components of the success of Eastern Regional High Schools. Current parent groups include District Advisory Council, Marching Vikings Band Parents’ Association, Eastern Parents’ Athletics Association, BGV Municipal Alliance (a community-based substance abuse prevention and awareness source), and Project Graduation (a parental group formed in 1993 to provide a safe post-graduation celebration for Eastern’s seniors). In addition the Eastern Education Foundation, Inc. was formed to provide a fundraising arm for the school district. Additional programs and groups are developed as needed.
